Nominations for SKAT Officers & Council 

The Nominations Committee is seeking nominations to fill five positions:

Council (2 positions): 3-year terms

Student rep to Council: 2-year term

Chair elect: 2-year term “after which they will assume the chair”

Secretary/Treasurer: 3-year term

Here are relevant ASA guidelines for slating nominations to section office:

• All candidates must be a full member of the section at the time of the election. Ineligible candidates will not be placed on the ballot.
• Associate members may not hold office in a section or the ASA. All other member types are eligible to hold office unless otherwise barred by section bylaws.
